Charlotte Maxeke Hospital matter now being handled by lawyers
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Gauteng MEC for Infrastructure Development, Jacob Mamabolo has appointed law firm, Adams and Adams to probe the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital collapse.

Seven people were injured after the hospital's roof collapsed yesterday.
Mamabolo said at the time that he believes poor workmanship by contractors who has been waterproofing the roof of the Johannesburg facility was to blame.
He says all those hurt in the collapse need as much support as possible.
"One of the things that I'm going to be doing is meet with members of the public that were injured here so that we continue to keep in touch with them and give them support. With respect to the workers of the company, now that we've even removed them off site.
"If we were to visit them just to check how they are - we'll need permission from the company. My view is that the workers and anyone injured need as much support as possible even it is not compensation," he said.
The hospital has since been re-opened - with contingency plans put in place to ensure that daily hospital operations are not disrupted.
