Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals
"On arrival, paramedics found that two taxis had collided in a T-bone format. Multiple patients were found lying around the taxi. In total, 15 people had sustained various injuries and stabilised on scene.
"Necessary authorities were on scene and will be doing a full investigation," he said.
Meanwhile, a man was rushed to hospital after being involved in an accident between a truck and a bakkie in New Germany, Pinetown.
Netcare 911 paramedics used the Jaws of Life to free the man who was still trapped in the vehicle.
