Case against ‘Mercedes Benz looter’ adjourned to Wednesday
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The trial against the so-called Mercedes Benz looter has been adjourned until later this week.

The trial was supposed to get under way in the Durban Regional Court on Monday.
Mbuso Moloi handed himself over to police after images of a man carrying a basket of items out of the Glenwood Woolworths that was being looted in July 2021 circulated on social media.
He was seen loading the groceries into his luxury car.
Moloi remains out on bail of R5 000, which he was granted a year-and-a-half-ago.
His vehicle was attached by the Asset Forfeiture Unit as it was deemed a tool used to commit a crime.
On Monday the State said it was ready to proceed and that all its witnesses were prepared to testify.
But the court heard there were developments around pre-trial agreements and that new evidence was being brought by Moloi's defence counsel.
The matter is expected to resume on Wednesday.
