There are calls for
the president to step down in the wake of a damning report into the Phala Phala
farm scandal.

Zama Ntshona, who's with the African Transformation Movement, says given the gravity of the situation the ATM is of a firm view that Ramaphosa must step down with immediate effect.
An independent parliamentary panel found that Cyril Ramaphosa may have a case to answer over the 2020 cash heist.
Ntshona, who is with the political party that first made a request for a parliamentary inquiry, says Ramaphosa should do the right thing.

“There is a green light for the impeachment committee to be established. The ATM is also mindful of the outstanding reports of a criminal nature that are still in the pipeline by at least five other agencies and thus making it untenable for Ramaphosa to continue as head of state.
“It is worth noting that the independent panel at paragrah 99 of the report has found that the responses of Mr Ramaphosa needed to be approached with caution. This is a polite way to say Ramaphosa was dishonest in his responses."
