Bodies found in KwaMakhutha still unidentified
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Durban Police say the decomposing bodies of two men discovered in a river in KwaMakhutha on Durban's South Coast last week, are yet to be identified.
The bodies which had been chained together and had stab wounds, were reported to authorities by a passerby last week in the Mkhazini River.
Police hope that the clothes the two deceased were wearing, will assist in the identification process.
They are urging residents who have loved ones that are missing to come forward.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says no arrests have been made at this stage and they are investigating a double murder.
He says the motive for the killings is unknown.
