We remember the queues, the smiles, the excitement.
On the 27th of April in 1994, scores of South Africans joined the voting queue – in the country’s first democratic election.
The majority of people voted for the first time.
As we look back on 23 years, we ask the question – Are we really free?
We took to the streets, to find out what South Africans think.
