Alert for KZN motorists ahead of festive season

As we head closer to the festive season, Transport officials in KZN have urged all road users to please exercise caution.
Thirteen people lost their lives in crashes in the province over the weekend.
Mluleki Mntungwa says among other things - they'll be targeting drunk drivers during their road safety awareness campaign.
"We want to caution all motorists and pedestrians to abide by the rules of the road as we are heading towards the festive season. We are going to embark on staging law enforcement operations focusing on drinking and driving, speeding and the roadworthiness of vehicles," he says.

KZN's roads are among the deadliest in the country over the festive season.
