AIDS 2016: 1.3 million people living with HIV are from Gauteng

Out of the seven million people living with HIV in South Africa 1.3 million people live in Gauteng.
The figure emerged last night at the 21st International Aids Conference in Durban.
Gauteng has a population of around 13.2 million.
The Gauteng Sex Council held a discussion called 'Sex in the City: The Uncomfortable Truth' last night.
