3 men nabbed for killing man on Durban's South Beach

They are facing charges of murder and attempted murder. 

They are accused of stabbing a 21-year-old man to death and attempting to kill his father on Saturday afternoon.

"It is reported that the victim informed his father that he was assaulted by a group of young men and together with his father, they reportedly approached the suspects," says KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.

"During the confrontation, three suspects allegedly produced knives and stabbed the son multiple times and he was certified dead at the scene. 

"The 46-year-old father was also reported to have sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to hospital for immediate medical attention."
