Three arrested after Umlazi killings

Police have arrested three suspects allegedly linked to two suspected vigilante killings in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal.
The three, aged between 18 and 39, were arrested in Umlazi last night, Major Thulani Zwane said.
A white VP Polo allegedly used to dump the victims at the Prince Mshiyeni taxi rank on January 30 was confiscated.
They are expected to appear in the Umlazi Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The two victims, Nhlakanipho Ngobese, 27 and Sibusiso Dlamini, 25, were assaulted in A-section, Umlazi, after being accused of stealing money from a house.
KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner, Lieutenant-General Mmamonnye Ngobeni warned people against taking the law into their own hands.
