Fifty-year-old Warrant Officer Petrus Holz was stabbed to death when he stopped on the N2 highway after his car hit debris placed in the road.

Hawks spokesperson, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, says two men, aged 23 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

"The suspects are actually appearing today at Somerset Magistrate' s Court. They were forming part of the four that was taken in on Wednesday and we believe that we have a very strong case against them and hence we just want to thank the task team that was formulated to investigate this case and the community for assisting us with information," he said.
