17 people found dead in East London tavern
Eastern Cape police are investigating the deaths of 17 people at a local tavern in East London.
The gruesome discovery was made on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana says the circumstances around the deaths are still unknown.
"The incident happened at Scenery Park, we do not want to make speculations as investigations are underway."
