Sbahle Mpisane 'fighting for her life' after car crash

Sbahle Mpisane's fans are praying for her speedy recovery after an horrific accident in Durban on Women's Day. 

Speaking to Drum magazine, the TV personality and fitness coach's father, Sbu Mpisane, says his daughter is in a critical condition. 

“It’s really bad. I don’t know where she was coming from. But she is in ICU fighting for her life at St Augustine Hospital in Durban," he told the publication.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning. Sbahle's BMW 4 Series left the road and hit a pole on Margaret Mncadi Avenue (formerly Victoria Embankment).

Emergency officials reportedly had to use the jaws of life to remove her from the overturned vehicle - which reportedly also burst into flames.

A case of reckless and negligent driving is being investigated. 

Sbahle's rumoured boyfriend, Kaizer Chiefs player Itumeleng Khune, took to Instagram to thank South Africans for their prayers. 

"Thank you for all your prayers, may God reward each and everyone of you Powerfully???????????????? ????" he wrote on Instagram.
