Less than a year after ending her multi-million dollar deal with Spotify, Meghan Markle has found a new home for her 'Archetypes' podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex has secured a creative partnership with Lemonada Media that will see the company overseeing ad sales and distribution.

"As part of their new deal, Lemonada will distribute the first season of the award-winning and critically acclaimed 'Archetypes' for all audio platforms and also develop a new original podcast series as yet untitled hosted by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex," Meghan's team said in a statement.

The 42-year-old first launched her podcast in August 2022. The first episode, which featured Serena Williams, debuted at number one on Spotify in 47 countries - beating the likes of Joe Rogan.

Other 'Archetypes' guests included Trevor Noah, Mariah Carey, and Paris Hilton. The series won the People’s Choice Award for 'Favourite Pop Podcast' of 2022.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:

Despite its success and high-profile guest list, it was announced in June 2023 that "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together".

That seemed to spell the end of the podcast until the latest news brought it back to life. Meghan revealed in a statement that she is "proud" to be continuing with her love for podcasting.

“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family," she wrote.

The statement was released on Meghan and Prince Harry's newly launched website, sussex.com

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have big plans for 2024. There's even talk that Meghan could be returning to Instagram!
