Jonah Hill's ex-girlfriend, pro-surfer Sarah Brady, is putting him on blast. The 'War Dogs' actor made their romance public in October 2021 when he gushed about how "grateful" he was to be dating her.

The pair broke up sometime in 2022. Jonah has since moved on with Olivia Millar. They welcomed their first child together several weeks ago.

Sarah is now sending "a warning to all girls" whose boyfriends police what outfits they wear.

"If your partner is talking to you like this, make an exit plan. Call me if you need an ear," she wrote.

Sarah, who is also a law student, shared screenshots of messages between her and Jonah. She described the messages as "emotional abuse".

In one message, the 39-year-old actor made a list detailing his relationship boundaries. The screenshots of their alleged exchange showed that the '22 Jump Street' star did not approve of her posting pictures of herself in a bathing suit and surfing with men.

"I am not the right partner for you if these things bring you to a place of happiness. I support it and there will be no hard feelings. There are my boundaries for a romantic relationship," he allegedly told her.

Sarah accused Jonah of gaslighting and manipulating her.

"It’s been a year of healing and growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame and self-judgment for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit. And I’m sure there’s still much more healing from this abuse ahead of me," she wrote on Instagram.

Sarah added that she didn't think Jonah is a bad person.

"Someone being an emotionally abusive partner doesn’t mean they’re a terrible person (often stems from their own trauma).

She said she has just one wish for the actor.

"If I could have one wish for him it would be that he is surrounded by feminist men who can hold him accountable to grow in the ways he has expressed he wants to. I think fame can put people in an echo chamber of viewpoints, which can enable emotionally abusive behavior," she wrote.

Social media users had mixed reactions to Sarah's text messages. Some felt that Jonah had clearly stated his boundaries and she continued with the relationship.

"There was nothing emotionally abusive with Jonah Hill’s text messages to his (now) ex gf. Expecting basic respect for oneself and one's partner is not an unreasonable request. Why do women hate it so much when men set boundaries?" Twitter user Paige Maria wrote.

Conservative political commentator Candace Owens also came to Jonah's defence.

"Women say there are no good men. The truth is there are plenty of good men but many women don’t want to rise to the level of being good women. Basic respect for yourself and your partner isn’t a tall ask," she wrote.

Others felt Jonah's tweets were misogynistic

"People defending Jonah Hill’s messages is wild to me. He’s imposing a value system on her. There’s a negative value attached to his gf’s clothes, job, relationships with men and women and her media presence. She’s framed as bad, he’s however the best boyfriend, " one Twitter user wrote.
