Dust off the guitars and get those vocal chords warmed up, Mzansi.
Lives will start to change again at the end of this month, when Idols SA Season 11 kicks off with auditions at the State Theatre in Pretoria on Saturday, January 31, followed by Cape Town auditions on the weekend of February 7 at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World, Durban auditions from February 21 at The Playhouse and the final auditions at Carnival City from March 1.
Contestants should be South African citizens between the ages of 16 and 30 to enter Idols SA 11, and South Africa’s aspiring superstars are urged to remember their ID documents at the auditions.
Underage contestants have to be accompanied by their parents.
Lani Lombard, Head of Publicity at M-Net, has promised a show-stopper eleventh season - with surprises lined up from the word go. "It's exciting to think that the country's new singing sensation will be somewhere in a long queue at the nationwide auditions."
