VIDEO: Monster wahoo off a kayak
Updated | By Andre Bloem
A Durban kayak angler had a narrow escape this past weekend.

Grant Wardell was knocked from his kayak by a large shark off Westbrook north of Durban this past Saturday.
Wardell estimated that the Great White Shark was around three metres long.
The angler managed get back into his kayak unscathed and later found a shark tooth embedded in his kayak.
Today we focus on a kayak fishing trip off Durban that proved less stressful for the angler involved.
He was also given a workout, but by a monster wahoo and not a shark.
It sure is the type experience you want when fishing from a kayak.
