Worker killed in hit and run during Durban road clean-up
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
A worker who'd been removing puddles on a Durban road has died after being involved in a hit and run.

Paramedics say the man, thought to be in his 40s, had been working on Umhlatazana Road in Clairwood following torrential rain in the city.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says the truck that struck him fled the scene.
"On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained multiple injuries and unfortunately passed away before their arrival. He was declared deceased at the scene.
"SAPS were in attendance and will be doing a thorough investigation into the exact cause of the collision," he said.
Durban plumbers and electricians have been kept busy - attending to numerous callouts after floods wreaked havoc around the city.
