WATCH: UKZN PMB students demand removal of campus's private security company

The SRC today presented a memorandum of demands to Speaker of the provincial Legislature, Lydia Johnson.
While it was yesterday's fee announcement that prompted students to march, they used the opportunity to address various other grievances.
SRC President at the Maritzburg campus, Siphelele Nguse, says they also want reports on all alleged rape cases on campus in the last three years and evidence from the university as to how they have dealt with the matters.
They've also called on the Legislature to publicly state whether it supports fee-free education.
"We are aware that the provincial legislature does not make the majority of the policies. However, we want them to take a public stance and say they are supporting us. We also want the same thing to happen with the police," he said.
