Protests over free higher education have erupted at UKZN Westville campus once again.
Police have fired rubber bullets and teargas at the campus, while students are throwing glass bottles and rocks over the fence at the university's Oval residence. This was aimed at the Police Nyala stationed outside.
Some of the students have covered their faces with masks and t-shirts moved to their balconies - have barricaded themselves into the residences and continued to throw items off the balconies.
