Violent protests break out in Isithebe, northern KZN
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
Workers at a factory in Isithebe in the Mandeni District Municipality in northern KZN have been told to stay at home and out of the city centre where violent protests have broken out.

Hundreds of community members have taken to the streets torching a factory and several vehicles.
The exact reason behind the protest is unclear.
This employee who's spoken to Newswatch has asked to remain anonymous.
"They are going factory to factory and pulling people out from the factories. They've burnt a truck and they're burning a factory. All corners of Isithebe are blocked.
"There are people in the factory that are stuck because they are afraid to come out," he said.
