SONA2016: Zuma can't dodge the new tax laws topic, says expert
Updated | By Zongile Nhlapho
Tax experts say the new tax laws will be an unavoidable topic at this week's State of the Nation Address.

President Jacob Zuma last month signed into law tax amendments which from March will allow people who retire or resign to only withdraw up to a third of their pension, investing the rest in annuities.
Trade Union Federation COSATU has since threatened mass action if the tax laws aren't scrapped while Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe has been appointed to address concerns over the new legislation.
Sanlam's Karin Muller says money is always a sensitive matter.
"In all reality it affects only a small percentage of South Africans," she said.
