Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A South African woman is expected to appear in a Panamanian court soon, after she was found with cocaine with a street value of over R5 million in the North American country.

Hawks spokesperson Robert Netshiunda confirmed that a 42-year-old woman was nabbed at the Tocumen International Airport in the capital Panama City today - as she was about to board a flight to Portugal via Spain.
He said she was searched by airport security and 5 kilograms of drugs were found on her person - some concealed in her backpack, and the rest was sewn inside the hood of her jacket.
"She was found with cocaine worth over R5-million. And of course the process to have her back in the country will ensue as and when the time is right."
The woman has not yet been named.
