SA citizens 'must embrace other cultures'
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has emphasised the importance of history and heritage.

Ramaphosa says heritage is an important cog in achieving cultural tolerance.
He had been speaking at a Heritage Day event in Limpopo yesterday.
Driving the point home, Ramaphosa said he enjoys the stories of Isandlwana, as told by the descendents of a man who fought in the battle.
''His sons are still alive and they pass that story on to younger people. It is wonderful listening to stories of great battles like the battle of Isandlwana. Let us continue telling the stories about our history,'' he said.
He also called on South Africans to learn about other cultures.
''When you're Zulu, you should learn to dance like the Vendas, when you're Pedi, you should learn to dance like the Xhosas and when you're Afrikaans you should also learn to dance like the Ndebeles, because we are all people of the same nation,'' he said.
