R2.5m cocaine seized at OR Tambo
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
In the second drugs bust at OR Tambo International Airport this week, SARS officials have seized about eight-and-a-half kilograms of cocaine with a street value of R2.5-million.

SARS says customs officials searched a passenger who was travelling to Lagos today, after scanning equipment alerted them to the possibility of drugs.
Upon searching, they found four ladies handbags in one of his bags, each containing eleven packages wrapped in brown tape.
A powder substance was found inside. SARS says a drug test confirmed that the substance was cocaine. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
