PICS: Aftermath of Durban's Jesus Dome fire
Investigations are underway into the cause of the fire that's left the Jesus Dome at the Durban Christian Centre gutted. The church - which can be seen from the N3 near Mayville - was covered in flames last night. Around a dozen fire trucks were deployed to the scene yesterday to douse the flames in the hours-long operation. The area has been cordoned off. Residents and motorists in Durban shared images and videos with Newswatch from the scene of the incident.
