MUT says students not responsible for burnt buses
Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
Mangosuthu University of Technology says their students are not responsible for the six buses that have been set alight at the institution.

It follows a special meeting which took place yesterday between management and the council.
Six buses were torched on Friday evening, while parked outside the Faculty of Natural Sciences building.
The buses are owned by the Gcaba brothers.
Last week, students demonstrated over a lack of buses - among other issues.
However, MUT's Zwelakhe Shangase says those issues were resolved.
"The owners of the buses has assured the institution that they're going to conduct their own investigation into the incident, and they promised the institution that the safety of student will remain a priority, and that service to transport students to and from the campus would not be disrupted."
Police are still investigating the matter and no arrests have been made.
