Manhunt launched for Westville house robbers
Police have launched a manhunt for the 3 robbers involved in the murder of a Westville man at his home.
It is believed the 36-year-old man was investigating after hearing a noise in the early hours of yesterday morning when he was shot dead by the suspects.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane, says officers are investigating a case of house robbery and murder.
"The 3 suspects entered the house, held up the occupants and shot at the 36 year-old man. They took an undisclosed amount of cash as well as cellphones and other items before they fled," he said.
"There are no arrests made at this stage and police are still hunting the suspects," Zwane said.
