LISTEN: Madonsela's successor has big shoes to fill: Analyst
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A political analyst feels Public Protector Thuli Madonsela will be remembered for not shying away from high-profile cases involving high-profile and controversial individuals.

The Institute for Global Dialogue's Sanusha Naidoo says Madonsela's report on Nkandla is likely to be one for the history books.
Naidu had been speaking on East Coast Radio's Trending Tonight last night, where she commended Madonsela's efforts to restore public faith in the justice system, through her various investigations.
She said Madonsela's efforts to interact with communities and find out their grievances also helped lift the profile of the Office of the Public Protector.
Naidu says Madonsela's replacement, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, has big shoes to fill.
"I think there are certain precedents that have been set as well during Thuli Madonsela's term in office, which in terms of the incoming advocate will be interesting to look at, and whether or not she will use those benchmarks as a way to maintain her independence," she said.
Madonsela's term comes to an end next month.
