Residents of Folweni south of Durban will be addressed by the ANC's regional leadership.

Angry residents have staged violent protests in the township since Monday, torching several vehicles and buildings.
They're upset over the party's candidate for councillor in the upcoming local government elections.

Resident, Nkosinathi Cele says they want the current candidate to be replaced by a local one.
"We have our number one candidate, Sisulu Nxumalo. He was born here, went to school here and has been an active ANC member in the community for many years. We want him," he said.
