Pistorius re-sentencing continues in Pretoria

Today is set to be the final day of pre-sentencing procedures in the Oscar Pistorius case and the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria will hear from the final State witness.

Pistorius has to be re-sentenced after his initial conviction of culpable homicide was converted to one of murder last year.
Yesterday we saw an emotional testimony by Barry Steenkamp, Reeva's father who for the first time spoke before the court.
He explained how Reeva's murder has changed him and how he hurt himself to try and feel the pain his daughter experienced i her final moments.
Steenkamp tearfully described how his wife phoned him that morning and urged him to come home.
Today the court will hear from the final witness with the state indicating it will be another emotional testimony.

Before the end of the the State and the defence will deliver their closing arguments.
All that is left then is will be for Judge Thokozile Masipa to decide on an appropriate sentence
