Durban residents share pictures, videos of protest

Police continue to monitor the roads, north of Durban, as some key travel routes are still affected by protest action. A violent protest erupted earlier today with people calling for a change in councillor candidates for the upcoming municipal elections. Areas severely affected included Newlands East, Sea Cow Lake, North Coast Road as well as the M19.
