Durban Fees March: Students hand over memorandum to Durban Chamber
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
A representative from the Durban Chamber of Commerce has accepted and signed a memorandum of demands from students who marched for free higher education.

Hundreds of students from various KZN universities, members of civil groups marched from Curries Fountain to the City Hall in the bid to call for free tertiary education.
They arrived at City Hall earlier and thereafter handed over the memorandum.
Michael Van Niekerk who is studying at Unisa has explained why he joined the march today.
"As an acknowledgement of my privelege, and the injustice that my forefathers perpetuated - today this has allowed me priveleges because of the colour of my skin.
"It has created a system of priveleges that have been bought on the backs of black people. I'm here today as a human being who wants to dismantle those priveleges. It's one step of solidarity in that direction," he said.
