Durban cyclists killed while out on morning ride
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Two cyclists have died after a car crashed into them on the M4 in Durban North.

It is understood the two had been part of a group of about 40 cyclists who had been riding together along the freeway at around 5 this morning.
The car smashed into them just after the Swapo offramp.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the road had to be closed following the crash.
"A Golf GTI had veered off the road and hit into the 2 cyclists. When we arrived there we found both of them lying on the road. Tragically they both died due to the very severe injuries that they had sustained."
"The SA Police Service was on scene and are investigating the cause of this accident," he said.

In another separate accident, four people were hurt after one vehicle collided into the side of another on the N2 south opposite Kingsway Hospital yesterday evening.
It's believed one of the cars had been trying to make a U-Turn on the highway.
In another incident in Umbilo, two people were hurt when two cars crashed into each other on the corner of Deodar Road and Esther Roberts Road.
Rescue Care says those injured were a mother and her baby. They were treated on scene and taken to hospital.
