The Constitution and Jacob Zuma can't coexist: DA
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
DA leader Mmusi Maimane says they're appealing to the ANC to fight the battle to defend the constitution.

The party's been briefing the media following yesterday's ruling by the Constitutional Court that found that Zuma violated the constitution by not implementing the recommendations of the Public Protector.
The judgement was also critical of the National Assembly, saying the decision to absolve Zuma of any liability for the non-security features at his Nkandla home was inconsistent with the constitution.

The DA has started proceedings to impeach Zuma.
"Can the ANC decide to vote against the Constitutional Court judgement - that is the question. We want to put it to them that if they are true to the fact that they want to defend the Constitution of the Republic, then you can't have Jacob Zuma.
"If you want Jacob Zuma then you can't have the Constitution of the Republic. The two cannot coexist," he said.
