ANCYL briefing on Mchunu's departure cancelled
A planned media briefing by the ANC Youth League in KZN around the resignation of Senzo Mchunu as Premier of the province has been called off at the eleventh hour.
The youth league gave no clear reason for the postponement, except to say the mother structure had to meet urgently to discuss a number of internal developments.

The youth league's Provincial Secretary Thanduxolo Sabelo says they remain co-operative with the mother structure of the ANC on the issue.
"As the youth league, our position is that we support the decision of the ANC to redeploy the Premier and we look for a Cabinet reshuffle which must see 40% representation of young people," he said.
