For health and safety reasons, we are only accepting new, sealed bottles of water.

Can we arrange to be a water collection point?

Yes. You can collect water from your community and the Gift of the Givers will come over to collect the bottles.

Email your name, contact number, physical address and the number of bottles to be collected to [email protected]

Please specify that the contribution is for East Coast Radio’s Project #WaterShare

When is the last day for collection?

Last day to drop off water is – Monday 1st of Feb 6am

Can I donate water tanks?

Yes, you can deliver empty water tanks to the various collection points.

The Gift of the Givers will distribute these tanks to areas that need them the most and top up the tanks every time they run empty.

Where will the water distribution take place?

Distribution will be in four areas outside Vryheid on Friday: Mvuyane, Mvuzini, Nceceni and Mhlongo Farm.

The Gift of the Givers is currently involved in countrywide water-relief operations. All contributions to Project #WaterShare will be used to assist communities in dire need across KwaZulu-Natal. We will track deliveries on our website and on our social media platforms.

What else can I do to help?

You can encourage local businesses and schools in your area to start a #WaterShare drive.

What is going to happen to the plastic?

Most recipients will re-use the bottles to top up with water or paraffin. Recipients are encouraged to recycle bottles that will not be used further.
