LISTEN: Rains cause chaos on Durban roads
Updated | By Chanelle Lutchman
Heavy rains have caused chaos on Durban's roads this morning with motorists having to navigate through mudslides, large puddles, fallen trees and debris on the morning run.
Jenny Becher told Newswatch this morning that she saw pieces of cement and blocks strewn across Chris Hani Road - formerly North Coast Road - after a wall had collapsed.
Meanwhile, Isipingo Beach resident Hassan Moola says they were shocked to find that part of Tiger Rocks Road - south of Durban had washed away.
