Lorde says she is loving Kendrick Lamar's new album, 'Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers'. The 'Fallen Fruit' hitmaker says she admires how vulnerable the rapper is on the album.

“I cannot get over the most popular and influential artist in modern music displaying a working nervous system, admitting mistakes, trying to process intergenerational trauma and prejudice," she said in a newsletter to fans, according to Billboard

Kendrick dropped his fifth studio album earlier this month. Music critics have heaped praise on the Grammy Award winner's new offering, which features the single, 'N95'.

Lorde described some of the songs on the album as "special".

"I love the way the album opens, the pace and heat of the first few songs, and later ‘Count Me Out,’ the build and strings in ‘Auntie Diaries’… special.”

'Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. According to Chart Data, it's the 34-year-old rapper's fourth consecutive number one album.

The offering also earned the "biggest first-week sales for an album by any artist on the Billboard 200 this year".

The video for 'N95', which was directed by Dave Free and Kendrick, is currently trending on YouTube's top 10.

The single is also at number three on the Billboard 100 behind 'As It Was' by Harry Styles and Jack Harlow's 'First Class'.

Three other songs from Kendrick also feature in the top 10. 'Die Hard' is currently at number five while 'Silent Hill' and 'United In Grief' claimed the seventh and eighth spot, respectively.

'Father Time', 'Rich Spirit', 'We Cry Together', 'Worldwide Steppers', and 'Count Me Out' are also in the top 20.
