Forbes 2023: Taylor Swift is the fifth most powerful woman in the world

Taylor Swift has made it to the top five most powerful women in the world.

Congratulations to megastar Taylor Swift on making it on to the Forbes top five most powerful women list for 2023.

The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker moved from #79 in 2022 to #5 on this year's list. 

The singer features in the top five alongside Ursula van der Leyen, Christine Lagarde, Kamala Harris, and Giorgia Meloni, who all fall under the category of politics and policy. 

Taylor is the first name on the list from the Media and Entertainment category. 

'With a record-breaking world tour, the ability to move economies and a $1.1 billion net worth, the 33-year-old entertainer ranks among the most influential women on the planet,' reports Forbes

Taylor became a billionaire in October after her Eras tour reportedly brought in a record-breaking $850-million. 

Other musicians who made it on to the list include Beyoncé and Rihanna. 

Beyoncé Knowles made it to #36 under the same category and Rihanna is number #57. 

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey also made it on to the list as number #31. 

Recently, Queen B invited Taylor to her 'Renaissance' film premiere. 

Taylor shared her excitement on Instagram. 

"Got invited to London by The Queen…Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is in theaters," she wrote.
