The singer has joined the #StandUpForUkraine movement to encourage the world to help people residing in Ukraine.

Celine Dion has been speaking out against the war that has resulted in turmoil in Ukraine.
In an Instagram post this week, she discussed how devastating the war in Russia is.
"It's so horrible what's going on in Ukraine and around the world with the refugee situation," she wrote.
She has called on the world to help those affected. She has also joined the #StandUpForUkraine movement which was started by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

"No one should have to experience this kind of tragedy," she added.
This is not the first time Celine has showed her support to Ukrainians.
Earlier in March, she wrote: "To the dear courageous people of Ukraine, we are shocked and saddened, and truly inspired by your bravery....Our hearts are with you. We send you love and prayers for peace."

The initiative was launched by the European Commission and the Government of Canada in partnership with Global Citizen to support people displaced by the invasion of Ukraine.
“On 9 April, the biggest online event ‘Social Media Rally' will support people who were forced to flee Ukraine.
