Durban gale force winds almost tip vessel over
A tanker coming into the Durban harbour almost did not make it. Take a look at this shocking footage:
The cyclonic weather conditions from this weekend are not over as strong gale force winds almost tip a car vessel over right at the mouth of the harbour.
This video was shot and uploaded on Facebook by Drieka Dercksen Lubbe, who was taking a stroll along the harbour, when she saw the huge vessel rock side to side, almost tipping over into the ocean.
The video has more than 14 500 shares and 547 000 views!
The strong gale force winds and massive waves along the coast are a result of Cyclone Enawo - which battered the coast of Madagascar last week, causing devastation there - and has since affected the weather system in Durban.
