This weekend, Outdoorcinema031 will host a drive-in rooftop cinema experience at the Saxony Westwood Mall. This event sounds like the perfect antidote to taking the kids back in time. A good, old-fashioned outdoor movie night that you could enjoy in the comfort of your car.
The best part is that the Outdoorcinema031 team is going old-school. The movie's sound will be transmitted through the ticketholder's radios.
The drive-in will be a classic, Mamma Mia.
"The ultimate feel-good musical, packed with ABBA hits and infectious fun. Perfect for a magical movie night under the stars! Feel free to get up and dance the night away while the kiddies enjoy the inflatable play area," states the Quicket website, where tickets will be sold.
There will be fun things to do while you camp inside your car to watch the ABBA classic.
There will be:
- Tasty food trucks serving delicious eats (or grab a hot takeaway from the food court before the movie starts!)
- Sweet treats for the kids
- Kids' entertainment area to keep the little ones happy
Please note that alcohol and weapons are strictly prohibited. Bring a blanket for a fun 'bakkie picnic' vibe if you have a bakkie.

Cost | R300 per car (up to 5 passengers, including children). Book your tickets on Quicket as there are limited ticket sales.
Please note: Vehicles are limited to light passenger vehicles only (maximum five passengers). No minibus taxis, kombis, or vehicles exceeding five passengers are allowed due to the height and size of those vehicles.
