Fancy spending some quality time with free-roaming primates such as capuchin monkeys (remember Dexter in 'Night at the Museum'?), buff-cheeked gibbons, squirrel monkeys, black howler monkeys, and spider monkeys?

Well, you can do just that at The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary (formerly Monkeyland-KZN) near Ballito on the Dolphin Coast.

Opened in 2019, The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary offers visitors an up-close-and-personal experience with their monkeys and other wild animals. However, it must be noted that there is a no-touch policy within the sanctuary - something which is a non-negotiable for all visitors.

If you're lucky, you may also be able to spot ringtail and black-and-white ruffed lemurs, bushbuck, and the very shy Natal duiker.
