They have seen the devastating effects of COVID-19 in local communities and have received several requests for help from various organisations. They believe that with the support of East Coast Radio they can reach out to communities that have not had access to funding.
They have selected eight organisations they would like to support through this initiative.
The Widowed and Single Parents Foundation (WASP) is one of those organisations.
WASP provides food hampers to the less fortunate on a monthly basis in Merebank, Wentworth, Bluff, Chatsworth and Phoenix. They are making a huge difference by helping these communities particularly during this COVID19 pandemic.
East Coast Lions is proud to announce the Widowed and Single Parents Foundation as a beneficiary of it’s Hunger Relief Fund. The organisation will be receiving R12 500 through the East Coast Lions Gives Back Fund.
