Shapers Care Against COVID-19

The Global Shapers community of Durban, an initiative of The World Economic Forum, has started Shapers Care Against Covid-19.

Darren had a candid interview with Pumla Jali from the Shapers Care Against Covid-19 and Shaun Tate, who is with the Domino Foundation, to find out more.

Global Shapers was established in 2014 and is in its sixth year of existence. It is a youth non-profit organisation, that consists of more than 400 hubs. The Durban-based hub sees a group of people who volunteer to make a change in their cities.

"The KZN response is a group of disaster management non-profits that have collaborated together to respond to the Covid-19 crisis. We have partnered with Globe Shapers to provide relief aid to vulnerable families with non-perishable foodstuff and hygiene items," said Tate.
The collaboration sees the two organisations bring happiness and hope to thousands of families who are suffering in KZN due to the pandemic.
