Airport security is quite strict about the items in your bag...

How does one even ever recover from being strip searched at a special part of the airport reserved for suspected smugglers and dangerous people? 

Well, this KZNer shared a story that our very own Sky Tshabalala can partially relate to.

The team went on a trip to Johannesburg last week for work.

On their return trip to Durban, he got stopped by security at OR Tambo International Airport for his bag to be thoroughly searched. 

At this point, Sky was adamant they were mistaken and there was nothing in the bag that could have possibly been dangerous enough to have him pulled to the side.

Well, it was a flop for the security to have only found a fork!

We have seen what could possibly go wrong when one gets caught with illegal items. 

Remember the woman who got caught smuggling cocaine in her dreadlocks by customs officials at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. 

Initially, she was sentenced to 30 years in prison!
