Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have come to a settlement in their divorce after nearly seven years of marriage. She has to pay $115,000 (about R1.7-million) a month in spousal support to her ex, who used to be her manager, until 31 January 2024.

In light of Russia's continued war in Ukraine, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is one of seven oligarchs now targeted by the UK government in the latest round of sanctions.
Abramovich had already signalled his intention to sell Chelsea, and wants to 'transfer stewardship' of the club to trustees, but that process is now restricted.

The South African Petroleum Industry Association (SAPIA) and petrol stations in Pietermaritzburg have denied claims of a major petrol shutdown being planned for Friday.

South African Breweries (SAB) will start buying electricity from a waste-to-energy company that gets its power from the manure of more than 7,000 cows to overcome loadshedding. SAB wants to draw 100% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2025.

Loadshedding has been lowered further to Stage 2 until 05:00 on Monday morning. Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshatsha says this is due to some recovery in generation capacity over the past 24 hours.
Five more generation units are expected to return on Monday afternoon.
