Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The KwaZulu-Natal government has launched its sanitisation programme targetting the province's informal settlements.

It's part of efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Premier Sihle Zikalala was at the launch in Mandeni on Tuesday. He says the programme will be rolled out across KZN.
"The Department of Public Works is the lead department that will coordinate the work."
"The Department of Agriculture will work in providing chemicals and sanitisers. We are going to cover all districts in KwaZulu-Natal."
Zikalala says screening and testing for the coronavirus will also be intensified.
