Hillary Duff kisses son on lips, people lose it

Over the last few days I have featured articles about 'mothers' who mistreated their children and really don't deserve the gift of parenthood, as far as I'm concerned. Then you get the opposite side of the coin.

Hillary Duff has been slammed on social media after posting a picture of herself kissing her four-year-old son on the lips. As a mom of three small kids, I don't understand what the issue is here?

I hug and kiss my kids (on the lips) daily. In fact, the word mother and smother are very close in spelling! I love nothing more than cuddling, holding, and covering their little (snotty) faces with smooches.

Granted I do think there is a window period for this type of expression, as I can't see my two teenage sons and daughter wanting their mom to do the same in future. I won't be that mom. Ok, I will try my best not to be that mom! 

I don't know where the notion of this act being sexual comes into play? It's warped! Hillary lashed back to the hate.
